Our history
1963
Opening of a new business line at the Laufach plant of the Düker ironworks through the takeover of the necessary know-how from the Rexroth company in Lohr. The production of the cast-iron machine components is now carried out in Düker’s own foundry. From the outset, the range of machines includes: meat grinders, cutters and filling machines.
1968
Düker-REX becomes the first manufacturer to advance technological development through the production of NIROSTA machines.
1977
Development of the infinitely variable regulation of the cutter shaft speed on the REX hydro cutter.
1989
Development of the mixing device for automatic grinders.
1990 – 1993
Introduction of the innovative servo technology on vacuum filling machines. Strengthening of the market position in the field of vacuum filling machines through the takeover of the Austrian manufacturer Schrofner who soon becomes a subsidiary of Düker under the name “Rex – The Meat Machines”.
2004
Relocation of the business area meat machines away from the Düker ironworks in Laufach and formation of Düker-REX Fleischereimaschinen GmbH. The long-standing REX employees Sören Bauer, Alexander Hock and Matthias Kunkel are appointed Managing Directors of the new company. Initially, the existing offices, assembly and warehouse halls on the premises of Düker ironworks remain in use.
2009
Start of building work for a new company complex. The spare-parts warehouse and the assembly workshop relocate at the end of the year.
2010
Occupation of the new offices and establishment of the business areas REX Works Customer Service, Works and General Overhauling of REX Meat Processing Machines and Commercial Agency for REX Vacuum Filling Machines in Germany.
2011
Further development and production of the Blizzard 45 and 65 cutter series.
2015
Development and production of the RK 50 SLF series.
2016
Development and production of the RK 70 SLF series.
2018
Enlargement and reconstruction of the fitting shop for new machines.
